Cancellations

We understand that life happens! If you need to cancel, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will be charged 50% of the total booking. No-shows without communication will also incur this cancellation fee and must be paid before rebooking.

Deposits for New Clients

First-time bookings require a 25% non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot. This deposit is applied toward your total balance and holds space in the schedule specifically for your dog.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off

Drop-off and pick-up times are flexible, just communicate any changes. Unless otherwise arranged prior, pick-ups after 10:00 PM are not available. In those cases, your dog will stay overnight and be picked up the next morning.

Multi-Dog Discount

Multi-dog households receive 50% off each additional dog after the first for both daycare and boarding services.

Insurance and Emergency Care

Mayday & Co. is fully insured through PCI for all daycare, boarding, and grooming services.
Coverage includes:

  • Up to $2,500 per incident for veterinary care or injury-related costs
  • Up to $1,000 per incident for emergency veterinary expenses
  • Protection for every service your dog receives during their stay

If your dog requires urgent care, I will contact you or your emergency contact right away. If immediate treatment is necessary, your dog will be transported to a veterinary clinic. As an added layer of protection, I am also bonded through SuretyBonds.

Vaccination Requirements

All dogs must be current on Rabies and DHPP vaccinations. While not required, Bordetella, Leptospirosis, and Canine Influenza vaccines are strongly recommended. Proof of vaccination is required before the first day of care.

Grooming Policy

Grooming services are only available when booked with a full day of daycare. I do not offer full-body haircuts or shave-downs. Packages and à la carte options are available in addition to standard bath and brush services. Bath and brush services are included with boarding stays of 5 days or longer. Light grooming such as paw washes or brushing is provided as needed during daycare and shorter stays.

Illness Policy

Please reschedule if your dog is showing signs of illness, including coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, wheezing, lethargy, open wounds, or other contagious conditions. For sick dogs, I recommend boarding with your veterinarian or clinics such as Allbrick Vet Clinic, Overland Animal Hospital, or West Denver Veterinary Hospital & Wellness.

Safety & Behavior

Dogs of all temperaments are welcome, including those who are shy, high-energy, or selective with people or other dogs. However, I do not accept dogs with a history of severe human or dog aggression. My home environment is social by nature, with occasional visitors and my own two dogs always present. If a dog cannot be safely accommodated or poses a significant risk to others, they may be dismissed from care. I’m more than happy to recommend alternative options if needed.
